Itinerary Arrangement

Day 01
Airport pickup from Chengdu Shuangliu Airport / Chengdu Railway Station pickup
Prepare your luggage and depart for the "Land of Abundance" – Sichuan Chengdu, to begin a wonderful vacation. After arriving in Chengdu and checking in at the hotel, you may visit the following places on your own depending on the time:

• Wide and Narrow Alleys
• Wuhou Shrine
• Jinli Ancient Street (antique-style food street)

About Chengdu:
A city you won’t want to leave once you arrive – a "Leisure Capital" where time slows down. The word "Bashi" often used by locals means "comfortable and just right." The numerous teahouses throughout the city are the best reflection of its leisurely atmosphere, while the countless Sichuanese restaurants, hot pot shops, and snack stalls will make you linger and forget to leave.

Day 02: Chengdu → Jiuzhaigou

Morning:
• Hotel pickup by car and transfer to designated meeting point
• Depart for Dujiangyan by tourist coach
• Visit the world-renowned Dujiangyan Irrigation System (includes entrance ticket; excludes electric cart CNY 20, earphone CNY 15)

Day 03: Jiuzhai Valley

After breakfast, depart from the hotel to the parking lot and transfer to the scenic eco-friendly sightseeing bus to enter Jiuzhai Valley — known as "Heaven on Earth" (includes entrance ticket; sightseeing bus 90 RMB + 10 RMB insurance fee at own expense).
Jiuzhai Valley is renowned as a fairyland and a world of fairy tales, featuring:
• Emerald lakes
• Cascading waterfalls
• Colorful forests
• Misty clouds
• Snow-capped peaks
• Unique Tibetan cultural charm

The landscape is mainly distributed across three main valleys: Shuzheng Valley, Rize Valley, and Zechawa Valley. Scenic highlights include:

• The four most spectacular waterfalls: Pearl Shoal Waterfall, Nuorilang Waterfall, Panda Sea Waterfall, and Shuzheng Waterfall
• 108 alpine lakes and dozens of flowing springs and flying waterfalls

The waters of Jiuzhai Valley are crystal clear and ever-changing, reflecting brilliant colors under sunlight, allowing visitors to deeply appreciate the saying:
"After seeing Mount Huangshan, no other mountains will impress you; after visiting Jiuzhai Valley, no other waters will captivate you."


Travel Tips:

1. The valley entrance sits at ~1,900m elevation, with the highest point (Long Lake) at 3,100m. Avoid strenuous activity to prevent altitude sickness.

2. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the scenic area. Violators may face fines up to 500 RMB.

3. Lunch is not included. Visitors may bring their own food or dine at the Nuorilang Self-Service Restaurant (30–98 RMB/person).

Day 04: Jiuzhai - Huanglong

After breakfast, depart by coach to Songpan County to visit the "Fairyland on Earth" — Huanglong Scenic Area (includes entrance ticket; optional expenses: cable car uphill 80 RMB, insurance 10 RMB, rescue locator 30 RMB).

Witness thousands of uniquely shaped, colorful travertine pools at Huanglong. The 2,500-meter-long travertine deposit is the world's largest, featuring major attractions such as:

• Washing Body Cave
• Golden Sand Pavement
• Potted Landscape Pool
• Huanglong Cave
• Huanglong Temple
• Stone Pagoda Guarding the Sea
• Five-Color Ponds

En route, view the Diexi Lake — a relic of the 1933 earthquake, now a barrier lake on the Min River.
Return to Chengdu in the afternoon and check in at the hotel.

Special Note:
During winter, if weather conditions prevent visiting Huanglong Scenic Area, the itinerary will be adjusted to visit Mounigou Scenic Area instead.

Day 05: Pandas - Sanxingdui

Morning:
After breakfast, depart by coach for the China Giant Panda Protection Research Center – Chengdu's AAAAA-rated Giant Panda Base (includes entrance ticket; optional expenses: electric cart 20 RMB, earphone 15 RMB).
Observe the adorable giant pandas, China's national treasure. The base features a forest-grove layout with a climate and natural environment ideal for pandas, hosting over 40 giant pandas. Visitors may take photos of the panda cubs.

Afternoon:
Visit the Ancient Shu Sanxingdui Museum (includes entrance ticket; excludes audio guide earphone 40 RMB).
• Named after three distinctive earth mounds on the Chengdu Plain
• A modern thematic site museum in China
• A Bronze Age archaeological site in Southwest China
The discovery of two large Shang Dynasty sacrificial pits revealed thousands of rare treasures, including world-renowned artifacts such as:
• Bronze Sacred Tree
• Gold Scepter
• Standing Bronze Figure

The Sanxingdui findings push the history of the ancient Shu Kingdom back over 5,000 years, making it one of the most historically, scientifically, culturally, and artistically significant relic groups with high

Group Tour Instructions

1. Climate & Clothing: Due to the significant temperature variation on the plateau, with low temperatures in the morning and evening, please bring relatively thick clothing even in summer. During spring and autumn, as temperatures are lower, guests must bring cold-proof/warm clothing.

2. Safety Notice: Pay attention to personal safety. Please operate within your acceptable risk tolerance and remember to avoid acting alone. If you cannot contact the guide under special circumstances or encounter an emergency during the tour, call the police immediately and seek help from the local police authorities.

3. Health & Medication: Participation is not advisable for those suffering from heart disease, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, severe anemia, coronary heart disease, asthma, senile dementia, mental illness, intellectual disability, etc. Please fully understand the local climate differences and follow instructions. Additionally, individuals over 75 years old require accompaniment by someone and must sign a liability waiver.

4. Accommodation: Jiuzhaigou and Gannan are remote areas with relatively poor hotel conditions. Generally, there is no air conditioning or toiletries provided. Please bring your own toiletries.

5. Supplies: The plateau has high altitude and strong sunlight. It is recommended to bring sunglasses, a sun hat, sunscreen, lip balm, cold medicine, gastrointestinal medicine, aspirin, valium, headache powder, and other items.

6. Insurance: Please purchase travel accident insurance independently!

7. Tour Arrangements: As this is a join-in group tour with dispersed guests, the vehicle license plate number and guide's contact information are confirmed relatively late. However, the guide will contact guests by phone between 18:00 and 22:00 the day before departure to notify the vehicle plate number and meeting arrangements. Please ensure your phone is reachable. If you do not receive a call from the guide, please contact the travel agency promptly. Thank you!

8. Feedback & Fees: Feedback not provided during the itinerary will not be accepted as complaints after the trip. Please complete the Quality Feedback Form thoroughly. If any issues arise, please raise them promptly for the travel agency to address in a timely manner. If a tourist temporarily abandons a visit or activity due to personal reasons, the corresponding fees are non-refundable, and no refunds are given for unattended complimentary attractions.

Default compensation

[traveler default] 
If the order is in the pending travel state and is canceled due to the traveler's reason, the fee deduction standard is as follows:

Before the trip starts, the default fee is 7% of the total order cost. 
5% for 7 days or more,  20% for 4-6 days , 40% for 1-3 days , and 60% on the day of travel. 
If the contract is terminated during the trip, the standard for deducting necessary fees is as follows: 
Total order cost × default fee on the day of travel + (Total order cost - Total order cost × default fee on day of travel) ÷ Total travel days × actual days traveled.
Special note:
If the deducted fee is less than the actual fee incurred, the traveler should pay the actual fee incurred, but the maximum amount should not exceed the total order amount.

If the order is in pending travel state and is canceled due the travel agency's reason, in addition to full refund, the travel agency should pay the following default fee:
Before the trip starts, the fee is 7% of the order total cost.5% for 7 or more days, 10% for 4-6, 20% for 1-3, 
and the travel agency should refund the order and pay the default fee according to the above standard within 5 working days after the notice of cancellation reaches the traveler.
