Service Standards

1. Local Transportation: Air-conditioned tourist coach throughout the tour. Vehicle size will be assigned based on the number of passengers. Airport/station transfers will be arranged according to the number of passengers.

2. Hotels: 7 nights of accommodation: 2 nights in 4-Diamond hotels + 4 nights in 3-Diamond hotels + 1 night in a standalone villa-style hotel in Jiadengyu (all rooms are twin standard rooms; triple rooms and extra beds are not available). Please note: The overall standard of hotels in Xinjiang is generally lower than in inland China and cannot be compared to those in Tier 1, 2, or 3 cities. Hotels in townships, mountainous areas, and scenic spots are one to two grades lower than city hotels. Please be mentally prepared. If the planned hotel is fully booked or due to other special reasons, the travel agency reserves the right to arrange alternative hotels of the same standard and grade.

3. Tickets: Includes the first-entry ticket and scenic area shuttle bus for: Tianchi Lake (Heavenly Lake), Keketuohai, Hemu, Kanas, Wucaitan (Five-Colour Beach), Marine Devil City, Flaming Mountains, and Karez Well System. A visit to a Tuvan family home is included as a complimentary experience. Note: The ticket prices for the attractions listed above are already at discounted group rates offered to travel agencies. Therefore, no additional discounts can be applied for any certificates (e.g., student cards, teacher cards, military IDs, senior citizen cards, etc.), and the difference will not be refunded. Fees for complimentary items are non-refundable if they cannot be visited due to objective reasons or if guests choose to skip them. (This is a packaged product; no certificate-based discounts or refunds are available for tickets. Certificates must be provided to the guide for ticket purchase if required). The order of scenic spots may be adjusted based on actual circumstances, but no attractions will be omitted.

4. Meals: Includes 7 breakfasts and 8 main meals throughout the tour. Hotel-complimentary breakfasts are non-refundable if unused. Main meals are based on a standard of 10 people per table with eight dishes and a soup. If there are fewer than 10 people, meals will be arranged according to the actual number of guests. No refunds will be given for any included meals that are not consumed.

5. Children: The child price only includes the tour coach seat and half-price meals. It does not include a hotel bed or attraction tickets. Any additional costs for tickets or other expenses incurred due to the child's height must be paid on the spot by the parents. Children must carry the original copy of their household registration document (Hukou) personal page. Children aged 12 and above must occupy a separate bed; no refund will be given if no bed is requested.

6. Insurance: Includes Travel Agency Liability Insurance. Guests are strongly advised to purchase personal accidental injury insurance separately.

7. Shopping and Optional Expenses: No shopping stops are included in the itinerary. Shopping facilities located within scenic areas are operated by the scenic area management and are not arranged by the travel agency. Optional activities within scenic areas are at the guests' own discretion and expense.

Cost Exclusions

1. Personal expenses during free time.

2. Single room supplement or extra bed charges if a single room is required (single rooms are not automatically provided). Personal toiletries and other personal consumption at the hotel.

3. Entertainment items within scenic areas, such as boat rides or home visits.

4. Children's breakfast fees at hotels and any other costs not included in the child price.

5. Consumption at shopping locations.

6. Travel accident insurance, aviation insurance, and any additional costs incurred due to traveler breach of contract, personal fault, or personal illness leading to loss of personal property.

7. Additional costs due to traffic delays, cancellations, other unforeseen events, or force majeure.

8. All expenses not covered in the "Tour Cost Includes" section.

9. Personal travel accident insurance.

10. Round-trip transportation to/from Urumqi from your city of origin.

Travel Tips

1. Climate Note: Xinjiang has significant temperature differences between day and night. From June to August, you can wear short sleeves, long pants, and bring a jacket. From September to October, bring a windbreaker or cotton-padded clothes. Hiking shoes or sneakers are recommended.

2. Personal Items: Please bring a power bank, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm, rain gear, personal toiletries, and a thermos (the water in Xinjiang is relatively hard; it's better to drink boiled water).

3. Common Medicines: It is advisable to bring cold medicine, stomach medicine, band-aids, mosquito repellent, cooling oil, and throat soothing medicine.

4. Dietary Note: The cuisine in most parts of Xinjiang is relatively strong and spicy, featuring mainly beef and mutton. Avoid drinking cold water immediately after eating meat to prevent indigestion like diarrhea caused by stomach discomfort. You can bring some snacks for occasional needs.

5. Time Difference: Xinjiang is 2 hours behind Beijing time. Please adjust your biological clock accordingly.

Group Tour Instructions

Accommodation:

Based on double occupancy. Single travelers will be required to pay a single room supplement.

Itinerary Notes:

1. Actual time allocation for sightseeing, free activities, and shopping stops will be adjusted based on daily conditions.

2. Please read the itinerary carefully. If you need to skip parts of the itinerary due to health or other personal reasons, or choose to forgo included accommodations/transportation, this will be considered a voluntary waiver. No refunds will be given for services not used, and you will be responsible for your own safety during skipped periods.

3. Unauthorized departure from the group (except during free time) is considered a breach of contract. A penalty of ¥2,000 will be charged, and no refunds will be issued for unused services. The travel agency assumes no responsibility for incidents occurring during unauthorized absences.

4. The order of attractions may be adjusted based on operational needs, but all sites listed will be visited.

5. Additional costs incurred due to force majeure events (e.g., transportation delays, flight cancellations, strikes, weather) shall be borne by the traveler.

6. Please strictly follow the guide’s instructions regarding safety precautions, reminders, and time arrangements.

7. This tour is sold as a packaged product with pre-discounted attraction tickets. If you hold any eligible discount passes, please present them to the guide for possible partial subsidies. No refunds will be granted for unused tickets. Some optional scenic area transport (e.g., shuttle buses, cable cars) is at your own expense.
