The days when I wandered around Yunnan, I lived in slow motionOn the day I went to Dali, I was awakened by the dog of the innkeeper's house. The golden fur called 'Erhai Lake' was lying at my doorstep, its tail sweeping the door curtain with a 'clang' sound. As soon as I went out, I saw the aunt selling bait blocks in the alley splashing water on the slate to wash the floor. Water droplets splashed up, shining brightly in the morning sun. I rented a small electric donkey and rode around the sea. When I arrived at Xizhou Ancient Town, I got hungry and randomly found a shop to eat crispy cakes. The freshly baked cakes were so hot that my hands trembled. Taking a bite, the sesame fragrance mixed with the lard fragrance could stir my soul away.I didn't go to those lively bar streets in Lijiang, but instead followed a Naxi uncle to the back mountain. He said the mushrooms here need to be harvested after rain to be fresh. As expected, several green headed mushrooms were pulled out from under the pine needles, shining purple like gems scattered in the grass. In the evening, when I went to his house for dinner, my aunt stewed mushrooms and chicken together. When the soup boiled, the whole house was filled with fragrance. The uncle said, 'This is the taste of Yunnan.' As he drank it, he forgot that he was a tourist.Shangri La is very cold, and wearing a sweater in the morning makes me feel the wind drilling into my bones. When I went to Songzanlin Temple, I met an old lady who was reciting sutras. She saw me shrink her neck from the cold and took out a piece of milk residue from her cloth bag to give to me. That thing is a bit sour and fishy, chewing it but returning sweetness, just like this place, it looks cold but its heart is hot. Later, I went to Napahai to ride a horse. The horse walked on the meadow, its hooves sinking into the soft mud and making a "plop" sound. The distant snow capped mountains flickered in the clouds, making me feel like I had stumbled into an animated movie. Before leaving, I strolled through a flower market in Kunming, which opened at 3am and was even more lively than a vegetable market. The aunties carried bouquets taller than people and walked forward, with roses, lilies, and carnations piled up like small hills. I bought a bunch of bellflower stems for five yuan each, and the flower seller even gave me a small bouquet of starry sky, saying 'bring some Yunnan colors back'. When waiting at the airport, the bouquet of flowers was placed next to it. The dew on the petals slowly dried, but the clear fragrance still seemed to stick to the clothes.Yunnan is a place where you don't need to go to any popular tourist attractions. Just stay in any small town, watch the locals sit at the doorstep basking in the sun, listen to them speak incomprehensible words, eat a few meals with smoke and fire, and live a very peaceful life. When you leave, you will find that what you take away is not only photos, but also a belly full of fragrance and the feeling of slowing down in your heart.
